TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The programs, circles, and retreats offered by Jane’s Dancing Hands (“JANE” hereinafter) are intensive and interactive exchanges of learning and transformation with Source Energy. In order to receive the full benefit of the programs, circles, and Jane’s Dancing Hands retreats, students must be committed to their journey of spiritual athleticism. The following policies are intended to assist with a successful experience.

We ask that participants attending any of our offerings do so strictly for educational reasons and not solely for healing of any kind, though this may be a natural by-product. Persons with health or psychiatric problems may find some live programs and retreats physically and mentally challenging (i.e., swimming with humpback whales in open waters, hiking up Machu Picchu, sharing within a group, etc.). We recommend that in case of doubt, a physician or mental health professional be consulted.

JANE reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a participant at any time, and to make changes in the itinerary whenever deemed necessary for the comfort, convenience, and safety of our participants, and to cancel a program at any time.

Registration: Registration will be considered complete upon the payment of your deposit. Deposits are due within 30 days of the commencement date, and payment of the balance is due no later than April 24, 2024. Based on space available, JANE will endeavor to facilitate bookings at later dates if necessary due to amount wishing to participate. In the remote circumstance that minimum event size is not reached, such event may be rescheduled, and all associated deposits or additional payments will remain in good standing.

Deposits: All deposits for retreats are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

If a participant needs to withdraw from a retreat, the participant must send a written withdrawal letter to hello@janesibbett.com at least 30 days before the retreat commencement date. The participant may receive a refund of the cost of the retreat minus deposit, but only to the extent that all funds have been paid to and received by the JANE. All deposits are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received 30 days or less prior to the scheduled retreat. If the student wishes to apply their payment to a future retreat or course a transfer fee will be assessed based on the format.

CANCELLATION FEES

JOURNEYS & RETREATS

Due to limited space availability, your deposit is non-refundable. It will also become non-transferable 45 day before retreat commencement. All final payments are due no later than 30 days before the journey or retreat commencement date.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance in order to protect yourself in case extenuating circumstances force you to cancel your trip.

Cancellations: If you must cancel your reservation, all payments made to and received by JANE, less your deposit, will be refunded if our office receives written cancellation at least 45 days before the retreat start date. If the written cancellation is received between 59 and 45 days, inclusive, before the start date, JANE will retain the non-refundable deposit plus a cancellation fee of 30% of the total price plus any costs paid to or incurred by JANE relating to your reserved attendance. If the written cancellation is received between 44 and 30 days, inclusive, before the start date, The JANE will retain the non-refundable deposit plus a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price; and if the written cancellation is received between 29 and 1 day before the start, or if the participant fails to attend (no-show), the cancellation fee is 100% of the total price. If a refund is approved, such refund will be made no sooner than 45 days after receipt of the written cancellation notice.

Although JANE will do everything possible to hold retreats as scheduled, cancellations may occur for reasons beyond the control of JANE. Such cancellations may be the result of acts of God or force majeure (including, but not limited to, earthquakes, volcanoes, severe storms, floods, etc.), political machinations (including, but not limited to, war, closure of borders, etc.), terrorism or threats of terrorist activities, or acts of other third parties (including, but not limited to, the canceling of reservations by conference centers, hotels, etc.) If a program or expedition is cancelled for reasons indicated in this paragraph, or for any other reason beyond the control of JANE, then the participant will be given a credit to attend a future course, program, or expedition of the same nature as the cancelled event for a period of two years. No refunds will be issued for cancellations beyond the control of JANE.

WHETHER THE CANCELLATION OF A CIRCLE, COURSE, PROGRAM OR RETREAT IS DUE TO A REQUEST BY THE STUDENT, OR IS INITIATED BY JANE FOR ANY REASON, IN NO EVENT WILL JANE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONAL EXPENSES INCURRED IN PREPARATION FOR, OR IN RELATION TO THE CANCELLED EVENT. SUCH PERSONAL EXPENSES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, TRAVEL EXPENSES, CHILD CARE EXPENSES, OR ANY OTHER EXPENSE INCURRED BY THE PARTICIPANT. THE PARTICIPANT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT ANY REFUND IDENTIFIED IN THESE POLICIES IS SOLELY FOR MONIES THAT HAVE BEEN PAID DIRECTLY TO AND RECEIVED BY JANE AS AN EXPENSE FOR THE SUBJECT EVENT, AND THE PARTICIPANT HOLDS JANE HARMLESS FOR ANY OTHER MONIES THAT THE PARTICIPANT MAY PAY TO THIRD PARTIES IN PREPARATION FOR OR IN RELATION TO ANY PROGRAM, CIRCLE, COURSE OR RETREAT.
