“About Jane” Book
Jane always knew she was special. Just not in the way you’d expect…
She was special in the way that she spilled her milk every night across the dinner table and hit her baby toe, knee or hip as she cried all the way to the bathroom – every single night. She was special in the way that class after class would laugh if she opened her mouth to answer the teacher and only blushes would pour forth. She was special in that they way they stopped giving her puppets for having so many visits to the ER for various crashes and broken bones.

Yet through it all, there was something about Jane that kept tickling her inside, telling her to get up, giddyup, get up, again – clean up, toughen up, straighten up, stand up, and use all the scabs and scars, bruises and bleeding-heart days to remember what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger AND makes a freak of a resilient woman. More, when faced with death at the hands of a kidnapper, like wildflowers that only bloom after a fire, Jane learned that inside her, and maybe inside us all, is a force of power that truly is so special when it ignites it could even change the heart of the planet.
