Dearest Sparkling Circle,
Happy New Year!
Let that wish fall around you like wildflower seed confetti. These are the first words of 2022 I’ve written. Dearest. Sparkling. Circle. And Happy. New. (Spacious) Year… life… anything you wish. Is it time to make intentions or simply to receive the breath and breadth of love? No effort need to be required either. Just letting your eyes dance across the words is enough, and if you wish to allow it to grow further, consider letting this first love note of the year wrap around you with a hug of joy we are here, together. Welcome to 2022, You!
It’s so blessedly quiet a night in our little nest here in Northern California it feels as if a sacred exhalation just filled my heart instead of the normal New Year’s Eve wilder days of old. I heard no fireworks. I drank no champagne. If I was to toast it would be from the last sip of hot cocoa now gone cold at the bottom of my stainless-steel camping mug. My handsome date with the dreamy eyes is at my feet, but he’s a snoring one-year-old puppy that smells like grass stains after the rain. He brought none of the usual noisemakers of horns or bells but tossed his favorite squeaky ball to me easily fifty times over while Claudia, our new website designer (hip hip hooray!) and I attempted a last meeting of 2021 earlier tonight. Blue didn’t bring flowers for our New Year’s Eve date either, but he carefully dropped “Stinky Puppy,” his very first toy, on my meditation cushion minutes before midnight, making sure they were both a part of this fresh new year ahead when he assumed I would stop, sit, and listen. Atta pup. Meditation on New Year’s Eve or Day is a perfect idea.
But first, I wanted to tuck this in your heart: Thank you. I am so grateful for you being here on this planet. On this first day of 2022, I hope you spend less time on the computer or your device reading my words. I wish instead you do something lovely for you and your happiest way forward.
In our family, traditionally on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day, we make vision boards. We cut old magazines, newspapers, catalogs, even saved or photo-copied photos, and then decorate a piece of cardstock with pasted chosen words and images – visions of dreams we wish to invite for the coming year. In the past and to delightful success, I visioned a farm for our family, more time to play, read, laugh, and love. I visioned travel, romance, dancing, and all manner of sacred bliss. I visioned circles, patience, trust, and health. And I visioned the same for my family – the one of my blood and the ones of my choice. Some visions are still awaiting fruition from years ago, but with trust in the highest and best good, this trust understands right timing isn’t always my choice nor if this life segment is aligned to realize it. Still, it’s a delightful cut and paste of what we want to refocus on drawing in more intentionally. If you wish to play this way, have fun, and you are encouraged to keep your vision board where you will see it daily even for a few minutes of visioning the joy it magnetizes.
As I pondered sharing with you something of such seeming whimsy when we have friends suddenly homeless due to the fires in Colorado, or others struggling with health or heartache from the ongoing pandemic and more, my eyes fell upon a quote in Poets & Writer Magazine that may help you, too. Even if you’re not a writer, you are an artist of the sacred life, so have a look and reframe:
“Was it worth it to play around with the order of words on a page, to create characters that didn’t exist when there was so much devastation in the world? When we were emotionally, physically, mentally drained?” Crystal Hana Kim asks. “You know the answer, just as I do, or you wouldn’t be here… It is always worth it – to search for meaning through the act of writing (or living), to discover ourselves through our narratives, to create art by linking words together.” (Editor’s Note, Poets & Writer, Jan/Feb. 2022)
Keeping all our friends and all the above situations and more in our prayers and hearts, we know there are many ways to live with the wilder turns of life. And whether vision boards are your prayerful cup of tea or not, you are also invited to be a 3D, walking, talking, dancing vision board yourself with our first two circles of 2022.
What does it mean to be in the flow for an even greater allowing of precious Source energy?
When resolutions are fresh, and your soul is yearning for every goodness to grow, how might you live as your gifts invite you to open wider than your heart ever knew possible.
Source isn’t calling our first circle of 2022 a straight-forward Jane’s Dancing Hands Circle, but an Allowing Circle. We have long known this gift is not contained just in Jane’s Dancing Hands, yes? As it has quickly evolved from the spinning mudras through my hands, the Language of Love in and out of English, the Source rap, oli’s, visions, clapping, tapping, zapping sounds as well as in the special way we move or are moved to harmony and health in our JDH Circles, we are inviting you to experience what it means to allow the whirling dervish of Source’s Joyfully Activating Nurturing Energy (Source said that acronym is appropriately in my name of JANE) to dance with your evolution in your own sacred gifts anew, too.
We also return to the Quanta Infinity Circle in 2022 for deeper work and you are invited! While the usual JDH Quanta Circle has been kept to 10 – 14 participants, Source chooses the final number for this immersion into intentional Source work. One evening and two consecutive days, we gather with pre-circle intentional work and group sharing to deepen how the gifts dance within us and/or what mastery and mysteries are unfolding. Even from the cold of the winter, we find fire and warmth for the coming days with work like this – intimate and infinite. Click this link to join.
We hope to see you soon.
Until the very next time, we are dancing with all your greatest heart and harmony.
In love, light, and ever happy new year-ness,
PS:
If you click on the links to the tickets, you’ll also get a sneak peek of a soft launch of our new website, still in evolution. Claudia Míró, Boosalah, and Claudia’s stellar team at
The Inspired Brand have been working hard on this website for months, and we are so deeply grateful for all the time and effort put into creating a stronger site holding all of the many pieces and ways I work in the universe. Thanks for understanding this not just simplifies things for us, but honors my past as well as my present, allowing transparency, greater security, and humility that Source/Creator/All-That-Is has always been running the life of Jane, whether I understood it or not. You will also see that while janesdancinghands.com is still alive as a domain, the new addresses and domain will be under the janesibbett.com now, so please add us anew to your contact list, as well as jason@janesibbett.com. Our mailing list will newly come from hello@janesibbett.com which will also help simplify replies.
Jason/Boosalah is currently on his winter holiday break for three weeks, but he’ll be checking back in just before the new 2022 events begin. The new 2022 online circle tickets should finally autogenerate confirmations and instructions as needed, and if links to your Zoom sessions aren’t initially included, they will arrive before the circles begin online 1.20.22 and 1.21.22.
Hooray and huge thanks to Claudia and Boosalah, again! I am so grateful. We’re not entirely finished, and it may be months before we are, but you are invited to our evolution – as always!
